It's been over a year and a half since I last posted a word on here. Since then, my son, who was 8 weeks at that time, has grown considerable and is now 21 months. He is learning and growing, attempting to say the alphabet. In addition, the Jones (Oquendo) Family has moved from San Jose, CA to Portland, OR. We arrived July 14 in the midst of a heat wave. Hot temperatures continued into August and September saw mild weather as well.

However, desirable weather has gone for now as inclement weather and snow has taken its place. December 14 saw the first signs of cold, icy weather as the forecast brought snow and ice to the Portland Metro area. The following weekend (Dec 19-21) saw more snow fall as the temperature dropped to the low 20's. 1o inches fell over the past weekend. The shop was closed for the second consecutive Monday due to bad roads conditions.

Stacie has found gainful employment which will help the family tremendously. Samira, Sidney and Sekari are doing doing fine. Samira is in fourth grade and is doing very well. Sidney well starting Kindergarten September 2009 and seems eager to go. I will continue to work at Stanley Steemer as I seek higher paying employment.

I will continue to write. It has taken me 5 years to get to the point where I feel comfortable writing and expressing my feelings in this format. I will continue to write and express myself in a way that will bring power and encouaragement to others as they read this. It is never to early or too late to pursue your dreams. Time waits for noone, yet time will never end. Next Entry: Friends.
